Alya rejoined Calthorpe Associates in June 2007 after spending fifteen months in Guatemala.  Alya worked for CA for over a year in 2004-2005 as the Administrative Assistant.

She currently aides in creating, editing, and supplying promotional materials to clients, packaging Qualifications and Proposals for new projects, and creating documentation booklets of completed projects.  She also performs backup support to the administrative department.

Alya received her Bachelors in Anthropology Cum Laude from SFSU in 2004 with an emphasis on Visual Anthropology and works in video production in her spare time creating documentary films, event videos, and advertising/promotional works.
