Erika Lew

Senior Planner

Erika Lew is an urban planner with experience in local and regional planning and policy development. At Calthorpe Associates, she has been engaged in evaluating institutional structures for land use and transportation policy. Her work also includes using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze interactions between the social, economic, and environmental factors related to urban development.

At Calthorpe Associates, she has worked on the following projects:

• Vision California (State of California)
• Fresno Southeast Growth Area Specific Plan (Fresno, California)
• Louisiana Speaks (South Louisiana, USA)

Prior to joining Calthorpe Associates, Erika assisted on a project exploring GIS education and spatial analysis in university curricula. She also collaborated with a team to incorporate community walkability assessments into a public health element for the Richmond, CA general plan.

Erika received her Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from San Francisco State University.
