Greg Gurren
Senior Designer
Greg Gurren is an urban designer and planner with experience in transit-oriented development, mixed-use community design, transportation planning, and form-based coding. Following an internship with Calthorpe Associates in 2006, Greg completed his degree and joined the firm as a Designer in March of 2008. His interests include sustainable development, historic urbanism, classical and vernacular architecture, quality affordable housing, revitalization, and transportation choice.
Greg has been involved with a wide variety of projects throughout the United States and abroad, including:
- Stapleton (Denver, Colorado)
- Daybreak (South Jordan, Utah)
- Arabian Canal (Dubai, UAE)
- Ivakino (Ivakino, Russia)
Greg received his Bachelor of Urban Planning degree from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. Prior to joining Calthorpe Associates, Greg interned at esteemed urban planning and design firms in Gaithersburg, Maryland Cincinnati, Ohio. A member of the American Planning Association and Congress for the New Urbanism, he is currently pursuing both AICP and LEED accreditation.
